Stephanie Davidson is part of the duo DAVIDSON RAFAILIDIS, whose work has been recognized by The Architectural League of New York and publications like The Architectural Review, Detail, Domus, Arquine, C3, Doma, among others. The interest underlying much of their work is the friction between the original design intentions for spaces and buildings, and the much richer built reality and unpredictable lives that buildings inevitably have. In most of their work, Davidson and Rafailidis study existing built conditions – sometimes these studies evolve into built works and sometimes the studies take the form of documentation (drawings, photographs, writing). Davidson has taught in architecture programs in Germany, Canada, the United States and Greece. Currently part of the Knowlton School of Architecture, OSU, Davidson and Rafailidis are also 2025 workshop leaders at the DOMa summer school in Xenia Andritsaina.
